The Newman Point of Sale software needs to be installed on computers on site. You can use touch-screen EPOS tills or regular computers.

From any Point of Sale, you can:

  • Sell a ticket in person or by telephone.
  • Choose seats on the seating plan.
  • Take payment by cash, card, cheque, invoice, or gift voucher.
  • Sell tickets to wheelchair users.
  • Sell confectionary and other products in person.
  • Issue free tickets and special deals.
  • Print receipts.
  • Look up film synopses and other information.
  • Suspend and resume transactions.
  • Pick up pre-booked tickets (i.e. tickets paid for by telephone or web).
  • Make and pick up seating reservations (i.e. tickets not paid for).
  • Change seats.
  • Refund transactions (in full or in part).
  • Sell & renew memberships.
  • Sell items to members with discounts.
  • Record cash drops.
  • Cash up each till (including at shift changes).
  • Update seat availability (e.g. for broken seats).
  • Record film print arrivals and departures.
